Reepol installed the original epoxy flooring requirement when the Manchester Velodrome was opened in 1996 for the Commonwealth Games.
This latest project was an upgrade of the off-run and warm-up areas for the World Championships in 2002.
Given the critical nature of the surface for racing bikes, this needed to be extremely smooth and blemish-free.
The surface was prepared by grinding, followed by the application of two coats of Reecote EC015, a water-dispersible epoxy finish.
