Plastic Industry Projects
The existing floor at Linpac consisted of different finishes and a smooth, uniform surface was required. A 2-3 mm finish was applied of Reeflor EL002 a trowel-applied, self-smoothing epoxy coating containing fine aggregates.
The previous surface in Shimizu’s injection moulding operation contained many layers of ordinary floor paint, but this had been subject to damage by fork lift traffic. The brief was for a long-lasting surface that was easy to clean and would hold its colour. A 2-3 mm finish was applied of Reeflor EL002 a trowel-applied, self-smoothing epoxy coating containing fine aggregates. Contrasting colours differentiated pedestrian walkways, and a zebra crossing was in-built.
