Electronics and Electrical Industry Flooring

Where the risk of static build-up has more serious implications Reepol can provide epoxy flooring products that conform to the more stringent Static Dissipative Flooring Standard BS61340.

Electronic Industry Projects

Electronics industry flooring Avoidance of dust was an important consideration in this manufacturing area, located at basement level. Working areas were isolated by screening and existing coatings removed. The requirement was for a surface that provided good chemical resistance, with an anti-slip finish in working areas. A 2-3mm finish of trowel-applied self-smoothing epoxy Reeflor EL002SF was applied to heavy traffic areas, and two coats of high-build, solvent-free epoxy coating Reecote EC017 were applied to other areas. The plant remained in operation
while the work was carried out.

Ricoh Small This was the main production area for Toshiba in Plymouth where they required a dissipative flooring system covering 2,000 sq mtrs. They were so impressed with the performance of Reeflor EL300 AS which was applied at a thickness of 3mm, further area were completed.
